New Providence Learning Club Joins the Prestigious Group of Organizations Approved by Project Management Institute to Provide Project Management Training

New Providence, NJ – June 15, 2010 – New Providence Learning Club today announces it is now approved by Project Management Institute as a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) effective June 1, 2010.

PMI R.E.P.s are educational organizations that have demonstrated that they are capable of providing world-class effective project management training.  Through PMI’s rigorous quality criteria for course content, instructor qualification, and instructional design, R.E.P.s provide the project management training necessary to earn and to maintain Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Program Management Professional (PgMP)® and other PMI professional credentials.

NPLC’s live 35-hour PMP® Exam Prep course is a superb value at only $999 for PMI members and is offered regularly in New Providence, NJ.  The course can also be delivered at client sites as desired.

See http://www.newprovlearningclub.com/PM_Test_Prep.html for additional details including course dates.

“We are very pleased to receive PMI’s R.E.P. imprimatur”, says Dan Celebucki, PMP and owner/operator of New Providence Learning Club.  “Cementing our relationship with PMI as a registered education provider is a great way for us to express our commitment to making high quality, PMI-compliant project management education more accessible as we continue to deliver our courses in a convenient live format and at an affordable cost to our clients.”

“PMI’s recent survey of training providers shows that 80 percent of organizations seeking suppliers of project management training strongly prefer to work with PMI R.E.P.s. They view their affiliation with PMI, as the leading standard-setting professional association for project management, as a stamp of quality on the training services they purchase,” said Edwin Andrews, Ph.D., director of academic and educational programs and services at PMI. “Organizations want to protect their investment in project management training, and they know that a PMI R.E.P. delivers such training in a cost-effective and efficient manner.”

Currently, there are over 1,300 R.E.P.s in more than 70 countries. These organizations include commercial training providers that design complete educational systems, academic institutions, internal training offices at corporations and government agencies.
